Hostess / Support Staff

$16.75 – $18 (Plus Tips) | Part time

As a Host, you’ll Inspire magic at the front door of the restaurant by engaging and communicating with guests when they first enter.

Requirements
  • The ability to legally work in Canada (as a citizen, resident or holding other current and valid work permit)
  • Serving it Right
  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
Responsibilities
  • Create seamless section transitions and flow for the kitchen and servers alike, managing the placement of guests throughout the restaurant.
  • Be a source of support and a mark of teamwork, jumping in to help clear and reset tables when needed.
  • Be a business owner every shift you work, taking responsibility and accountability for service and communication quality and efficiency What you bring to the team:

Security / Bouncer

$18 – $22 (Plus Tips) | Part-time

We are searching for a consistently fair Bouncer to regulate patrons’ access to our bustling establishment. The Bouncer will be required to review prospective clients’ identification documents, deduce their legal capacity, and direct suitable visitors to our offerings. You should also preserve orderliness within the crowd. To ensure success as a Bouncer, you must promote patrons’ safety while remaining unobtrusive. Ultimately, a fantastic Bouncer will conserve the reputability of our space.

Requirements
  • High school diploma.
  • BST license (security license)
  • Formal civilian-related security training is favoured.
  • The ability to legally work in Canada (as a citizen, resident or holding other current and valid work permit)
  • Proven experience as a Bouncer or similar.
  • Refined crowd management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Unrivalled observational and conflict management skills.
  • Capacity to be stern, as required.
  • Excellent verbal communication abilities.
Responsibilities
  • Inspecting clients’ identification to discern their legal capacity.
  • Reviewing mental fitness and outward appearances to gauge prospective clients’ eligibility.
  • Receiving event-related tickets or cash payments prior to prospective clients’ entry.
  • Furnishing clients with wrist stamps, bands, or ticket stubs to denote their rightful admission.
  • Steering clients to accessible amenities.
  • Maintaining orderliness and etiquette in all applicable vicinities.
  • Escorting rowdy clients off of our premises.
  • Reporting pressing security-related matters to local authorities and your line Manager.

Bar Back / Busser

$16.75 – $18 (Plus Tips) | Part time

  • Be the life of the party by assisting our bartenders in preparing and restocking bar supplies, keeping the drinks flowing, and the good times rolling.
  • Show off your efficiency by keeping our bar area clean and organized, so our guests can enjoy their favourite drinks without missing a beat.
  • Flex your muscles and help set up and tear down for events, making sure our space is set for a night to remember.
  • Be a superhero for our waitstaff by swooping in to clear tables, refill water glasses, and lend a helping hand whenever and wherever it’s needed.
  • Embrace our safety-first mantra and ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed, creating a secure and worry-free environment for all.
