Dr. McDermid will explore the key differences between liars and bullshitters—because they truly aren’t the same—and how understanding this can empower us to better navigate the noise from both humans and bots!

Steve Taddy’s Dark Jokes for Nice Folks comedy show is centered around, you guessed it, dark humor. These are jokes for people who have a dark sense of humor but who are also not terrible people (eg. no racists, or homophobic jokes here). Join us for an evening of hilarious jokes and look at the darker side of the world. These are jokes you’ll want to repeat to your co-workers and realize halfway through it’s probably not a good idea. Steve Taddy is a Vancouver based comedian. He has toured all over Western Canada and was featured in Calgary's inaugural Craft Island Comedy Festival. In 2023 Steve released his debut album, Insufferable, now streaming.
